CM Promises Development To Narnaul Residents

Narnaul: The Haryana Chief Minister,Mr.Om Prakash Chautala today said that the Punjab Government
is bound to complete the construction work of Satluj Yamuna Link Canal as per the directions of the Supreme
Court and Haryana would definitely get its due share of water. 
The Chief Minister was talking to media persons after redressing the grievances of the people at Narnaul
during the third phase of  Sarkar Aapke Dwar Programme. Replying to a question on Dulina killings, he said that some opposition parties were playing with the sentiments of the innocent pepole to gain political mileage from this issue. 

He said that guility of the Dulina incident would be punished under the law of the land. The law and order of the State
would be maintained at all costs, he added.
Earlier, the Chief Minister announced various developmental works for the people of the Narnaul constituency while redressing  their grievances. These announcements included repair of village phirnies, construction of school rooms,  covered sheds and roads leading to cremation grounds, pavements and street roads, vridh vishram grehs, water tanks and  four walls of schools.
The Chief Minister informed that crores of rupees had been spent on the various developmental work of Narnaul
constituency during the first two phases of  Sarkar Aapke Dwar Programme. He urged the people to deposit
their pending house tax and in turn the Government would provide equal amount for the development of this
area.  

He also announced for developing a park in the memory of Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal  near Jal Mehal. Acceding to various other demands of the people of Narnaul city, he sanctioned the construction of road from Sabzi Mandi to main road, adequate sewerage arrangement, removal of encroachments and repair of all roads. He also announced setting up of a 33 KV sub-station to meet the growing demand of electricity of the area. He said that sufficient potable water
would be supplied to each village. He suggested the Gram Vikas Samitis to appropriately use funds for developmental works and anybody found misusing the funds would be sternly dealt with.
Mr. Chautala said that the State Government was paying due emphasis to remove the encroached areas and
directed the concerned administration to take effective steps in this direction.
