Gurgaon: Chairman of the "reconfigured" Maruti-Suzuki automobile factory, O. Suzuki made his first visit to the Gurgaon plant after the takeover.

He assured the workers and the Union members that he would do his best to ensure that Maruti employees are happy and taken care of. The Chairman attended meetings with senior officials of the plant and took note of all their issues, assuring them of a swift resolution.

Whereas other cars have made impressive inroads into the Indian car market, Maruti still holds the pride of place, having been the first major car manufacturer to have established an Indian base. In an uncanny way, Maruti also seems to have its fingers of the customers' pulse more than anybody else.

This change in the Maruti Suzuki stake-holding will certainly not have any impact on their market share or the people's trust!
