Delhi Buses Diverted Towards Gurgaon; Pollution May Pick Up But Commuters Aren't Complaining!

Gurgaon: CNG crisis has thrown in a completely unexpected scenario in Gurgaon . Many of those 7000 diesel buses which have been chucked off from Delhi's roads after the Supreme Court order have started plying in Gurgaon and Bahadurgarh route.

This development, experts fear, would lead to increase in pollution in the 'fresh' air of cyber city.

There is another fall-out.

Transport department here feels that it will make major losses in its routes since Delhi buses will take a major portion of the daily commuters. Satish Yadav of the Roadways Union warns that some steps should be immediately taken up or else Roadways may incur major losses.

But such fears apart, life will become more comfortable for Gurgaon-Delh commuters. Earlier there were buses for Gurgaon from Delhi in every thirty minutes. Now they are available in every ten minutes!
