Ghost Story

Once when I was walking down the road, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to see who it was, but saw no one.I thought I saw a man wearing a black cap and shoes. The footsteps stopped for a while.

It was pitch dark and the road was deserted. I felt quite lost. I did not know what to do. The footsteps started again clip!clap!clip!clap! My heart was in my mouth. I wanted to scream but who would hear me, I wondered. I started running but the footsteps approached me faster and faster and soon that person caught my hand.

As I started to scream, he peeled off his mask and guess who it was. My brother! Grrrrr! By Udit Jain of CCA School

Pinecrest Celebrates Diwali

On the 18th of Oct. there was a picnic in our school for Diwali celebration. We had our morning prayers and played some games. Afterwards we went to Air Force Museum, Palam. There were three

busloads of children...

There we saw many kinds of planes, small gliders, helicopters, etc. We also saw many planes of Pakistan that were captured by the brave Indian soldiers during the war and army uniforms. We had refreshments from the Air Force Cafeteria. At 1:30 p.m. we came back to school where a grand lunch was waiting for us. After that we participated in various events. On the whole, it was a fun-filled day!

We sang the National Anthem and got Diwali gifts. Before going home all children lighted the candles.
